Who is God?
God is the creator of the heavens and the earth, He is our savior, He is our heavenly Father to those who become His children by faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. God is eternal, holy, infinite, just, omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient and God is Love!

Isaiah 40:28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth, He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom.

1 John 4:7-9 Let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God because God is love. This is how God showed His love among us! He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might love through Him.

What is the Bible?
The bible is God's message to us, it is His Word and it can be trusted to tell us the truth about Him. The bible gives us insight into the will of God and prepares us to do His work.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Who is Jesus Christ?
Jesus Christ is the Son of God who makes us sons and daughters of God through faith. Christ is the only way to salvation.

John 14:6 I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

What is sin?
We sin when we commit acts which are contrary to God's holy standard of righteousness. We sin when we fail to do what we know is the right thing to do. We sin when we have unrighteous attitudes. We have ALL sinned and must look to Jesus Christ for Salvation.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Why does God allow sin?
God created man with the freedom to choose out of His love. When man chose to sin or go against the will of God he broke God's law and created a break between man and God. As God is just, the penalty for sin was death spiritually and physically. However God loves us so much that he provided a sinless sacrifice in the form of Jesus Christ in order that our sins might be forgiven and we can be reconciled to God.

Can any sin be forgiven?
Forgiveness is not based on the magnitude of the sin, but the magnitude of the forgiver's love. No sin is too great for God's complete and unconditional love. Forgiveness means that God looks at us as though we never sinned.

Isaiah 1:18 Come now, let us argue this out, says the Lord. No matter how deep the stain of your sins, I can remove it. I can make you as freshly fallen snow. Even if you are stained as red as crimson, I can make you as white as wool.

What is Grace?
When the bible says we are saved by grace, it means that God has freely chosen to pardon our sin through Jesus Christ. We do not have to earn God's love or work our way to heaven. By grace we are forgiven for our sin and restored to full fellowship with God.

Romans 6:23 The wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

How does faith in God's grace bring salvation?
Man's belief that Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sin is all that is required on mans part for salvation. Belief or faith that Jesus Christ is the means of our salvation is the prerequisite. We do not have salvation without it. We do not receive God's free gift of grace without it.

Acts 16:31 Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.
